The 2026 Cape 1000 marked a memorable fifth edition of South Africa’s most beautiful drive, with around 70 remarkable cars, a spectacular Western Cape route, enthusiastic public support and an atmosphere that blended heritage, hospitality and driving passion in equal measure. From the Show & Shine and opening celebrations in Cape Town to the final finish at the V&A Waterfront, the event showcased the very best of the Cape through iconic roads, unforgettable scenery and a field spanning classics, modern classics and supercars.
